February 19, 2004: Carex s.a., a discovery and development company of nuclear receptor modulators for the treatment of metabolic diseases, announced it has secured 25 million Euro in a series B financing round. The round was led by new investors Index Ventures, in addition to Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity, Global Life Science Ventures and HBM BioMedinvest. Current Carex investors who have taken part in the round are Mara Ventures, GIMV and Sofinnova Partners.
