General Partner. Stéphane Verdood is a recognized business consultant and mergers and acquisitions specialist in Europe. He led the mergers and acquisitions division of Arthur Andersen in Belgium from 1989 to 1995. He founded and led Arthur Andersen's business consulting division in Belgium and Luxemburg (400 consultants and $20 million in revenue) and served on the European Board of Partners of Arthur Andersen. For the last 11 years Stéphane Verdood has been a consultant to healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. As a director of mergers and acquisitions for Arthur Andersen, in healthcare, insurance and the food industry, he was responsible for direct investments totaling $20 million and mergers and acquisitions totaling $350 million. In October 2000, Mr. Verdood started together with Nicolas Vryghem the company Value for Growth, a venture coaching services company for early-stage companies. Mr. Verdood has an M.B.A. and a Bachelor's degree in commercial engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven.
